Ekaterina Zalata, Engineering

After graduating from university, I was ready to take on a high-responsibility role and work on meaningful projects that made a difference. I was looking to join a company where I could take on this kind of work within just a few days of starting. When I secured an internship at P&G, I realized this was the place I was looking for.

From Day 1 of my internship within the production department at the P&G Gillette plant in St. Petersburg, I began to bring my ideas to life. I improved equipment performance by reducing changeover time (the starting and stopping process of equipment). At the same time, the company made it possible for me to constantly learn new things and develop my leadership skills. For example, I learned how to make responsible decisions independently and monitor the course of events at the production site.

Now, I'm a process engineer, I have the opportunity to work on many different complex and interesting projects. This is just the beginning of my career at P&G, and I’m excited about what interesting things lay ahead for me!
