Kirill Babenko, Finance & Accounting

I started my career at P&G as a financial analyst on Pampers production in the Novomoskovsk plant, where I was responsible for analysis, forecasting, and optimization of plant costs. At P&G, no matter what function you work in, you dive into business on Day 1—in Finance, this is definitely the case. Financial analysis here is integrated directly into business operations, with each analyst taking on a leadership role within their part of business and influencing decision-making.

My role looked at all areas of the production process, and I even worked on a production line for some time. From the beginning from the very first day, I was part of operational team helping to optimize cost, carrying out financial assessments of new capital projects, and consulting on accounting matters. And all this was at the scale of the biggest diapers’ producer in the country!

In less than a year of joining P&G, my scope increased to include Gillette production in Saint Petersburg. I became the first analyst in the company responsible for production of two different plants at the same time. P&G is unique in the way it trusts and empowers young managers like this.
